The London 2012 summer games will be held exactly one year from today. I'm really looking forward to it as the first commercials on the games have begun.
Also exactly 15 years ago tonight I was at the Olympic stadium in Atlanta to witness the men's 100m world record broken by Donovan Bailey of Canada. His time was 9.84 seconds. Now the world record is held by Usain Bolt of Jamaica at 9.58 seconds. Thats quite a drop in 15 years!

15 years since the Atlanta summer games
15 years ago yesterday began the 1996 summer Olympic games in Atlanta. Wow has time passed. The opening ceremonies were held on a Friday night July 19 and ended on Sunday Aug. 4 1996. It was a great Olympics for me as a spectator and volunteer. I haven't been to Centennial Olympic Park since 2005 to see my brick. I wonder what condition the bricks in the park are in today.
