2012 USA Olympic trials, Diving, Track and Field and Swimming

Three events are holding USA Olympic trials this week. Diving, Track and Field and Swimming.

David Boudia and Nick McCrory are going to London in the 10M platform synchro diving competition. Troy Dumais and Kristian Ipsen qualified in 3M synchro.

In the Track and Field Olympic trials held at Heyward Field in Eugene, Oregon June 21- July 1, 2012
Several prominent USA athletes won't be going to London. Adam Nelson did not qualify in the men's shot put and 2008 gold medal Olympic champion decathlete Bryan Clay was disqualified for missing a hurdle but then had his points reinstated. He did not finish in the top 5. Mary Wineberg did not make the final in the womens 400. Jeremy Wariner did not qualify in the mens 400. Walter Dix and Doc Patten did not qualify in the mens 100. Maggie Vessey did not qualify in the womens 800. David Oliver finished 5th in the men's 110 hurdles and did not qualify. Bershawn "Batman" Jackson dived across the finish line in the men's 400 hurdles and did not qualify. Tiffany Williams finished 4th in the women's 400 hurdles and did not qualify. Jeneba Tarmoh concedes women's 100m to Allyson Felix instead of the proposed run off between the two. Tarmoh will be a part of the women's 4 X100 relay team. Anna Pierce finished 5th in the women's 1500M and will not qualify. Darvis Patton and Shawn Crawford finished 5th and 7th respectively in the men's 200M and do not qualify for London.
USA track athletes that qualified for London are:

Mens 10,000M - Galen Rupp, Matt Tegankamp and Dathan Ritzenhein.
Womens 10,000M - Amy Hastings, Lisa Uhl and Janet Bawcom
Womens 100M Hurdles- Lolo Jones, Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells
Womens 100M - Carmelita Jeter, Tianna Madison, Jeneba Tarmoh & Allyson Felix. Tarmoh and Felix tied for 3rd. Felix gets the third spot over Tarmoh because Tarmoh concedes.
Mens Decathlon- Ashton Eaton 9039 points(World Record) and Trey Hardee 8383 points. No other athlete qualified because they did not have the London A standard.

Men's 400M - Lashawn Merritt, Tony McQuay and Bryshon Nellum
Women's 400M - Sanya Richards Ross, Dee Dee Trotter and Francena McCorory
Women's Discus- Stephanie Brown Trafton, Aretha Thurmond and G. Lewis Smallwood. Suzy Powell-Roos came in 3rd but did not have the London A standard so she did not qualify.
Men's 100M - Justin Gatlin, Tyson Gay and Ryan Bailey
Men's 800M - Nick Symmonds, Khadevis Robinson and Duane Solomon
Women's 800M - Alysia Montano, Geena Gall and Alice Schmidt
Men's Long Jump - Marquise Goodwin, William Claye and George Kitchens, JR
Women's Pole Vault- Jennifer Suhr, Becky Holliday and Lacy Janson
Women's Triple Jump - Amanda Smock
Sheena Gordon and Andrea Geubelle did not have the London A standard in the triple jump and will not qualify.
Men's High Jump - Jamie Nieto, Erik Kynard and Jesse Williams
Nick Ross finished 3rd in the high jump but did not qualify because he hid not have the London A standard.
Men's Javelin - Craig Kinsley, Sean Furey and Cyrus Hostetler
Sam Humphreys and Samuel Crouser who finished 1st and 2nd in the Javelin do not make the team because they did not have the London A standard.
Men's 3000M Steeplechase - Evan Jager, Donn Cabral and Kyle Alcorn
Men's Pole Vault - Brad Walker, Jeremy Scott and Derek Miles
Men's Discus - Lance Brooks, Jarred Rome and Jason Young
Women's 5000M - Julie Culley, Molly Huddle and Kim Conley
