While the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Games starts tomorrow, February 9, the games started today with men's and women's ski moguls qualification and the figure skating team competition- men's short program and pairs competition.
USA men's ski moguls finals qualifiers:
Troy Murphy - 80.95 points
Casey Andringa and Brad Wilson each had 75.25 points and did not qualify for the finals.
USA women's ski moguls finals qualifiers:
Morgan Schild - 77.74 points
Jaelin Kauf - 77.45 points
Keaton McCargo - 75.67 points
Tess Johnson did not qualify with 65.55 points
USA Figure Skating Team results:
Nathan Chen- Men's Short Program - 80.61 points
Alexa Scimeca Knierim/Chris Knierim - Pairs - 69.75 points
Team results after pairs competition:
Canada - 17 points
USA - 14 points
Japan - 13 points
OAR - 13 points
Israel - 11 points
