Simone Manuel did not qualify for the final of the women's 100 freestyle. Ryan Lochte did not qualify for any event in Tokyo and did not make the USA Olympic Swim team. Kelsi Dahlia, Mallory Comerford and Leah Smith did not qualify for Tokyo. Kathleen Baker did not qualify for Tokyo in the women's 200 backstroke. Haley Anderson did not qualify for Tokyo in the women's 800 and 1500 freestyle. Nathan Adrian did not qualify for Tokyo in any events.
