USA Triathlon team of Seth Rider, Taylor Spivey, Morgan Pearson and Taylor Knibb wins silver in  the Mixed Relay. 1:25.40. Germany wins gold in 1:25.39 and Great Britain wins bronze in 1:25.40.

Delaney Schnell of the USA advanced to the women's 10M Platform diving semifinal and failed to advanced to the final.

Rai Benjamin, and CJ Allen, both of the USA, advanced to the men's 400 hurdles semifinals. American Trevor Bassitt advanced to the repechage round.

American Katie Moon advanced to the women's pole vault final.

Aaliyah Butler and Alexis Holmes, both of the USA, advanced to the women's 400 semifinals. American Kendall Ellis advanced to the repechage round.

The men's beach volleyball team of Miles Evans/Chase Budinger lost to Anders Berntsen Mol/Christian Sandlie Soerum of Norway 2-0, 16-21, 14-21. Evans/Budinger are eliminated.

Simone Biles (14.133) and Jordan Chiles (13.766), both of the USA, win silver and bronze respectively in women's gymnastics floor exercise. Rebeca Andrade of Brazil wins gold with a score of 14.166.

The USA mixed skeet shooting team of Austen Jewell Smith/Vincent Hancock wins silver by losing to Italy 45-44.

The USA men's beach volleyball team of Miles Partain/Andy Benesh/ beat Samuele Cottafava/Paolo Nicolai of Italy 2-0, 21-17, 21-18. Partain/Benesh advanced to the quarterfinals.

The USA women's 3 on 3 basketball team lost to Spain 18-16 in the semifinals. Hailey van Lith led team USA with 8 points.

The USA women's beach volleyball team of Taryn Kloth/Kristen Nuss lost to Melissa Humana Paredes/Brandie Wilkerson of Canada, 2-0, 19-21, 18-21. Kloth/Nuss are eliminated.

The USA men's water polo team beat Croatia 14-11. Max Irving and Hannes Daube scored 3 goals each to lead team USA. 

American Sam Kendricks wins silver (5.95) in the men's pole vault. Armand Duplantis of Sweden set a new world record of 6.25 (20 ft, 6 in) while winning gold and Karalis Emmanouil (5.90) of Greece wins bronze.

American Kenneth Rooks advanced to the men's 3000 steeplechase final.

American Valarie Allman (69.50) wins gold in the women's discus throw. Bin Feng (67.51) wins silver and Sandra Elkasevic (67.51) wins bronze.

McKenzie Long, Gabby Thomas and Brittany Brown, all of the USA, advanced to the women's 200 final.

The USA women's 3 on 3 basketball team wins bronze by beating Canada 16-13. Hailey van Lith led team USA with 6 points. Germany wins gold by beating Spain who wins silver.

The USA men's volleyball team advanced to the semifinals by beating Brazil 3-1, 26-24, 28-30, 19-25, 25-19.

American Caroline Marks (10.50 total score) wins gold in women's surfing gold medal match. Tatiana Weston-Webb (10.33 total score) of Brazil wins silver. Johanne Defay wins bronze by beating Brisa Hennessy of Costa Rica 12.66 to 4,93 in the bronze medal match.
