Day 15



American Kyle Mack wins silver in men's Snowboard- Big Air with a total score of 168.75. Sebastien Toutant of Canada wins gold with a total score of 174.25. Billy Morgan of Great Britain wins bronze with a total score of 168.00. Americans Chris Corning(153.00) and Red Gerard(143.00) finished 4th and 5th, respectively.

Great Britain(2) beats the USA(2)on time to move on in Alpine skiing - Alpine Team Event. USA's Megan McJames beats Charlie Guest of Great Britain by .03 of a second. David Rydinng of Great Britain beats Nolan Kasper of the USA by.18 of a second. Alex Tilley of Great Britain beat Patricia Mangan of the USA by .06 of a second. David Chodounsky of the USA beat Laurie Taylor of Great Britain by .36 of a second.

American Joey Mantia finished 4th in men's 1000M Speed Skating. Americans Shani Davis and Mitch Whitmore finished 7th and 10th respectively.

After 2 runs of the men's 4-man Bobsled, the USA team of Codie Bascue, Evan Weinstock, Steven Langton and Sam McGuffie are in 9th place. The USA team of Nick Cunningham, Hakeem Abdul-Saboor, Chris Kinney and Sam Michener are in 20th place and the USA team of Justin Olsen, Nathan Weber, Carlos Valdes and Chris Fogt are in 21st place.

The USA team of Lowell Bailey, Sean Doherty, Leif Nordgren and Tim Burke finished 6th in men's Biathlon - 4 by 7.5KM Relay.

Day 5



American Shaun white wins gold in men's Halfpipe with a score of 97.75, Ayumu Hirano of Japan wins silver with a score of 95.25 and Scotty James of Australia wins bronze with a score of 92.00. Shaun white was in silver medal position(94.25) entering his final run and put down two 1440's to win gold. Ben Ferguson of the USA was 4th with a score of 90.75, Chase Josey of the USA finished 6th with a score of 88.00 and American Jake Pates finished 8th with a score of 82.25. Shaun White is now a 3 time Olympic gold medalist in Halfpipe(2006, 2010, 2018).

The United States women's Ice Hockey team defeated OAR(Olympic Athletes from Russia) 5-0 in the preliminary round, group A. Goals were scored by Kacey Bellamy, Jocelyne Lamoureux- Davidson(2), Gigi Marvin and Hannah Brant.

Americans Ted Ligety, Bryce Bennett and Jared Goldberg finished in 5th, 17th and 36th place respectively in the men's Alpine Skiing Combined Slalom.

Americans Joey Mantia, Brian Hansen and Shani Davis finished 8th, 15th and 19th respectively in men's 1500 Speed Skating.

John-Henry Krueger of the USA qualified for the quarterfinals in men's 1000 Short Track Speed Skating. American JR Celski did not qualify for the quarterfinals.

The USA men's 5000 Short Track Speed Skating relay team of JR Celski, John-Henry Krueger, Thomas Hong and Aaron Tran qualified for the 'B" finals(3rd or 4th place).

Erin Hamlin and Summer Britcher, both of the USA, finished 6th and 19th respectively in women's singles Luge. Emily Sweeney of the USA had a crash and didn't finish.

Maame Biney of the USA did not qualify for the semifinals of the women's 500 Short Track Speed Skating competition.

Jessica Diggins of the USA finished 6th in the ladies Cross Country Skiing Sprint Classic Final.

The USA beat Korea 11-7 in men's round robin Curling.

The USA Pairs team of Alexa Scimeca Knierim/Chris Knierim finished 14th after the figure skating short program with a score of 65.55.

Day 5



Kaitlyn Farrington and Kelly Clark, both of the USA wins gold and bronze respectively in the women's halfpipe. Torah Bright of Australia wins silver. Hannah Teter of the USA finished 4th.

Shani Davis of the USA finished 8th and Brian Hansen also of the USA finished 9th in men's 1000M short track speedskating.

Marissa Castelli and Simon Shnapir of the USA finished 9th in figure skating pairs free skate while the other USA pairs team Felicia Zhang and Nathan Bartholomay finished 12th.

Julia Mancuso of the USA finished 8th while Laurenne Ross, also of the USA finished 11th in women's downhill skiing.

In men's luge doubles run the USA team of Christian Niccum and Jayson Terdiman finshed 11th while the second US team of Matthew
Mortensen and Preston Griffall finished 14th.

Canada beat the USA 3-2 in women's Ice hockey.
