Women's USA soccer -

The USA women's soccer team beat France 4-2. The USA trailed 2-0 and then scored 4 unanswered goals. Goals were scored by Abby Wambach, Alex Morgan(2) and Carli Lloyd.

Day 17- February 28

In the men's gold medal Ice Hockey game, Canada beat the USA 3-2 in overtime. Canada led 1-0 on a goal by Jonathan Toews in the first period. Canada scored again in the second period on a goal by Corey Perry to make it 2-0. The USA scored a bit later in the period with a goal Ryan Kesler to make it 2-1. The USA scored with 24 seconds left in the third period on a goal by Zach Parise. In overtime the winning goal was scored by Sidney Crosby of Canada to make it 3-2 Canada and win the gold medal for them.
