USA woman's shooter Ginny Thrasher wins gold in 10M air rifle.

In women's swimming, Elizabeth Beisel and Maya DiRado, both of the USA, advance to the finals of the 400IM.

Dana Vollmer and Kelsi Worrell, both of the USA, advance to the semifinals of the women's 100 butterfly.

Conor Dwyer of the USA advances to the finals of the men's 400IM.

USA swimmers Kevin Cordes and Cody Miller advance to the semifinals of the men's 100 breaststroke.

The USA men's water polo team lost to Croatia 7-5.

In men's beach volleyball, Jake Gibb/Casey Patterson of the USA beat Jefferson/Cherif of Qatar 21-16, 21-16.

The USA women's volleyball team beat Puerto Rico 3-0, 25-17, 25-22, 25-17.

The USA women's soccer team beat France 1-0. Only goal scored by Carli Lloyd.

The USA men's basketball team beat China 119-62. The USA was leading 59-30 at halftime. Kevin Durant led team USA with 25 points.

Chase Kalisz of the USA wins silver(4 minutes 6.75 seconds) in the men's 400IM. Kosuke Hagino of Japan wins gold in 4 minutes 6.05 seconds, Daiya Seto of Japan wins bronze in 4 minutes 9.71 seconds.

Dana Vollmer of the USA advanced to the final of the women's 100 butterfly.

No Americans medaled in the men's 400 freestyle.

Maya DiRado of the USA wins silver(4 minutes 31.15 seconds) in the women's 400IM. Katinka Hosszu of Hungary wins gold in 4 minutes 26.36 seconds). Mireia Belmonte Garcia of Spain wins bronze in 4 minutes 32.39 seconds.

Kevin Cordes and Cody Miller, both of the USA, advance to the finals of the 100 breaststroke.

The USA wins silver in the women's 4 by 100 freestyle relay with a time of 3 minutes 31.89 seconds. Australia wins gold in 3 minutes 30.65 seconds. Canada wins bronze in 3 minutes 32.89 seconds.

The USA men's gymnastics team finished second in qualification for the team event on Monday evening with 270.405 points. China was first with 270.461 points. Russia was third with 269.612 points. Sam Mikulak and Chris Brooks will compete in the all around competition for the USA.

In women's beach volleyball, Kerri Walsh Jennings/April Ross of the USA beat Artacho/Laird of Australia 21-14, 21-13.
