The USA water polo team lost to Italy 12-11. Luca Cupido, Alex Obert and Alex Bowen had 2 goals each to lead team USA. 

Kayle Browning of the USA wins silver in the women's Trap Shooting competition. Zuzana Rehak Stefecekova of Slovakia wins gold.  Alessandra Perilli of Italy wins bronze. 

Katie Ledecky and Katie Grimes, both of the USA, advance to the finals of the women's 800 freestyle. 

Caeleb Dressel and Tom Shields, both of the USA, advanced to the semifinals of the men's 100 butterfly.

Rhyan White and Phoebe Bacon, both of the USA, advance to the semifinals of the women's 200 backstroke.

The USA 4 by 100 Mixed Medley Relay team of Regan Smith, Andrew Wilson, Tom Shields and Abbey Weitzeil advanced to the finals.

Sunisa Lee of the USA wins gold in the women's gymnastics All Around competition with a score of 57.433. Rebeca Andrade of Brazil wins silver with a score of 57.298 points and Angelina  Melnikova of ROC wins bronze with a score of 57.199 points. 

Sunisa Lee of the USA scored a 14.600 on vault, 15.300 on uneven bars, 13.833 on balance beam and 13.700 on floor exercise.

Jade Carey of the USA scored a 15.200 on vault, 13.500 on uneven bars, 11.533 on balance beam and 13.966 on floor exercise.

The USA women's volleyball team beat Turkey 3-2, 25-19, 25-20, 17-25, 20-25, 15-12.

The USA women's beach volleyball team of April Ross/Alix Klineman beat Keizer/Meppelink of the Netherlands 2-1, 20-22, 21-17, 15-5. Ross/Klineman advance to the knockout round after going undefeated in Pool B.

Caeleb Dressel of the USA advanced to the finals of the men's 100 butterfly. 

Lilly King ( 2 minutes 19.92 seconds) and Annie Lazor ( 2 minutes 20.84 seconds), both of the USA, win silver and bronze respectively, in the women's 200 breaststroke. Tatjana Schoenmaker of South Africa wins gold in 2 minutes 18.95 seconds.

Ryan Murphy of the USA wins silver ( 1 minutes 54.15 seconds) in the men's 200 backstroke. Evgeny Rylov of ROC win gold in 1 minute 53.27 seconds. Luke Greenbank of Great Britain wins bronze in 1 minute 54.72 seconds.

In track and Field, Benard Keter of the USA advanced to the men's 3000 steeplechase finals. Hillary Bor of the USA did not qualify for the finals. 

In track and field, Athing Mu, Raevyn Rogers and Ajee Wilson, all of the USA, advance to the semifinals of the women's 800. 

In track and Field, Kenny Selmon, David Kendziera and Rai Benjamin, all of the USA, advance to the semifinals of the men's 400 hurdles.

In track and field, Sam Mattis of the USA advanced to the finals of the men's discus.

In track and field, Juvaughn Harrison and Shelby McEwen, both of the USA, advance to the finals of the men's high jump.

In track and field, Teahna Daniels, Javianne Oliver and Jenna Prandini, all of the USA, advance to the women's 100 semifinals.
